Gander Coop supports Daffodil Place with a $5,000 gift
Representatives from the Gander Coop present a $5,000 gift to Roger Sellars of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Gander Co-op chose to support the Daffodil Place Campaign because it is a community venture that will help those families in need throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Co-op members and employees said they were proud to continue to support the Canadian Cancer Society project that will provide accommodations and support for cancer patients and their families. “We wanted to give back to the community and Daffodil Place was right out in front “, said Morley Goodyear Manager, Gander Co-op. “Daffodil Place is long over due and we will continue to support this venture”, he added.
